The Vermont Transfer Guarantee (Guarantee) is designed for students who earn associate degrees at the Community College of Vermont (CCV) and want to pursue a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year institution in Vermont. The Guarantee mitigates credit loss to increase student success by:

• Accepting associate degree holders who meet the minimum GPA requirement of either 2.0 or 2.5 for participating institutions.

• Waiving application fees and personal essay requirements.

• Considering transfer students for institutional support in the form of grants and scholarships despite this aid being usually available to only first-time, first-year students.
